What you need to know about AP retakes

Will Hagaman, Editor in Chief

After a turbulent year, with COVID-19 affecting the status quo, the College Board has announced that AP testers can retake last school years AP exams. Here is everything you need to know:

  • Students who retake their AP exam will keep the higher of their two scores.
  • It will cost $96 to retake the test this year.
  • The retake will not be held against the students in any way, it will only show colleges the higher score and not the fact you had to retake it.
  • You will have only one chance to retake it.
  • The retakes will be taken during the regularly scheduled AP retakes.

If you decide to retake your AP exam to better your score, contact Ms. Raines as soon as possible.
