Who leads our infamous student section, the Green Wall, is just as important as the students who are yelling and cheering at every Friday night lights.
Last year, Green Wall leaders looked a bit different in that they rotated between different juniors and seniors, something that was uncommon to Forge as previously, as all Green Wall leaders had been seniors.
For this school year, the seniors are back on top and are serving as our 2024-2025 Green Wall leaders.
The leaders this year are Ella Fulmer, Emma Sofis, Luke Murray, Ayden Mitchell, and Brayden Kampans.
Ella is senior class president and is also on our girls varsity soccer team, Emma is senior class treasurer and a varsity volleyball player, Ayden Mitchell is on our varsity baseball team, and Luke and Brayden are arguably two of the most spirited students at our school playing on the varsity lacrosse team.
These leaders are looking forward to bringing their leadership skills and enthusiasm for our school to the Green Wall.
“I’ve always loved spirit weeks and supporting everyone at school has always been important to me. I also think being class president can help with this role because I am always aware of what’s going on at school and I hope that Green Wall and class office can work together”, Ella said.
Additionally, the leaders are hoping to bring back that energetic and spirit-filled feeling that the Green Wall had in previous years, especially after the Green Wall’s different look last year.
“I looked up to the Green Wall leaders from the class of 2023 a lot and in my opinion, they were one of the best Green Walls we’ve had, so we’re definitely going to try to bring that same energy”, Luke said.
This past Friday, the Green Wall brought the energy to our end-of-first week pep rally, showcasing their excitement for the successful school year and sports season we have ahead of us.
That being said, students and faculty alike are looking forward up-keeping the great, long-standing tradition of our amazing Green Wall, that is often imitated, never duplicated.
