Last season the boys varsity soccer team dominated and expect this year to be no different. Collin Miller (‘13) has been playing Forge soccer for all four years of high school and scored the first goal for the 2013 season against Albemarle. With every new season comes new fresh talent as well as fresh nerves.
“Everyone gets a little nervous before games but once the game and the season really get started it goes away,” he said.
Everything you do and every decision you make has an impact in some way, shape, or form on the rest of your life especially in high school. Sports as well as school work can sometimes be too much to handle for some people.
“It has impacted me because it has taught me to balance soccer and school at the same time and the experience of playing for your school.”
