At the 6A state indoor track championships on February 23 and 24, the girls and boys track teams both came away with stellar performances.

Most notably, the boys 4×400 relay of Jonathan Grey, Johnnie Walker, Rafael Mas, and Zack Kindel won narrowly over Western Branch, running 3:23.89.

Other results from the boys included a fifth place finish in the 4×200 relay, 3rd and 8th place for Kindel and Mas in the 500, respectively, 8th place for Walker in the 300, and 4th place in pole vault for Seifeldin Eltabylhi.

For the girls, the 4×800 relay placed 8th, Journe Dundy placed 5th in the triple jump, Jana Riley finished 8th in the 300, and Allison Fick and McKenzi Watkins ran to 2nd and 3rd place finishes in the 3200.
