The Girls basketball team will take on “St.Joseph High School”, one of the best teams on the East Coast, in Maryland on Saturday.

Cameron Downs (‘20), the 2017 player of the year,will lead the Eagles.

St. Joseph is a team out of Brooklyn, New York. They are a pretty talented team with speed and size, and they will be a force in the tournament this weekend in Maryland.

“I look to go in the first game hard,defensively,”said Coach Lasean Cook. ”If we play our brand of basketball, we will be perfectly fine.with St. Joseph it seems to be a strong program out of New York. They are a strong defensive team, and we look to get at them from the get.”

The “She Got Game” tournament will be held at Athletic Republic in District Heights, Maryland at 8:30 P.M. on Saturday, December 16.There is a $6 admission.
