This upcoming Thursday, January 19th, Forge drama will be hosting a Be A Light event in the auditorium. The event will be from 5-6 p.m. and stands for creating a safe space for everyone. The flyer reads as follows: “We will join together and pledge to stand for and protect the values of inclusion, participation, and compassion for everyone, regardless of race, class, religion, country of origin, immigration status, (dis)ability, gender identity, or sexual orientation. All are welcome!”

This event is for everyone and the department asks students to invite friends and anyone else you think would benefit from this event. It is free and it is encouraged to bring your flashlights or phones to “spread the light.”
