Local attractions for Spring Break 2018
April 10, 2018
Spring Break is right around the corner, and while many have plans to head out of state and soak up the rays surf-side for the first time in 2018, most of you, will be sitting at home binge watching Netflix and earning Fortnite Victory Royales.
On a rare break you may take from one of these physically draining endeavors, try embarking on one of the following relatively local indoor and even outdoor activities as we are now slowly but surely crawling towards tolerable temperature…sort of.

Kings Dominion
The 2018 KD season is officially underway as of March 24th. Arguably the number 1 attraction in our area for teens who are sick and tired of going to an Imax-less Paragon. Everything from the signature Intimidator 305 to the Windseeker are once again open for your enjoyment.

Sky Zone
A year-round Fredericksburg area favorite, don’t go here if your sport is in season right now or you might end up on injured reserve. But seriously, this is an awesome trampoline park to go to if you want to blow off some energy. Located in Central Park, it’s a pretty routine drive for most and is well worth the price of admission. If you’re smart and abide to their rules, you’ll be just fine and won’t end up on IR either.

Shenandoah National Park
Hiking in Shenandoah is an awesome way to get in some of that physical activity you may lack motivation for over spring break. Take in the extraordinary views, fresh air, and opportunity for Instagram pics that are guaranteed to bring in an unusually high likes-to-followers ratio.

Adventure Park at Wilderness Presidential Resort
Located in Spotsylvania County, the Adventure Park is a rare attraction for our area as something of it’s nature is typically reserved for heavy tourism locations. Everything from a rickety bridge to a zip-line can be experienced at Adventure Park.
